Thinking about a Bali dive vacation? If underwater adventures are calling your name, then Tulamben Dive is the perfect destination to explore. This serene village on Bali’s northeast coast is a diver’s paradise, home to vibrant marine life, crystal-clear waters, and one of the world’s most famous wreck dives—the USAT Liberty. And when it comes to where to stay, Tulamben resorts like the beautiful Mimpi Resort Tulamben offer everything you need to dive, relax, and repeat.
Why Tulamben Is a Diver’s Dream
Unlike the busier dive areas in southern Bali, Tulamben offers an unspoiled setting that’s ideal for both beginner and experienced divers. The highlight of the Tulamben Dive experience is, of course, the Liberty Wreck—a massive WWII cargo ship now transformed into an underwater sanctuary buzzing with marine life. But that’s just the beginning. The area is full of rich coral gardens, reef walls, and rare critters that make it a top pick for underwater photography and macro diving.
What really sets Tulamben apart is its easy shore diving, warm waters, and excellent visibility year-round—making it one of the most accessible and rewarding Bali dive sites.
